HOLIDAYS. HANDLED.
The Holidays…who has time to overthink it? Really. And yet, we do, yearly, and for too long. You want to remain current, make it pretty, lean nostalgic, ensure it’s family-focused, etc…it is a lot.
I figured why not throw together an easy guide/selection/ clickable round-up just to get it DONE while checking all of the anxiety-producing boxes? So, here it is—my mostly easy guide to getting ahead of it so you don’t have to freak out when it is suddenly mid-November…which it almost is.
PRETTY, NON-DENOMINATIONAL CARDS
A FEW OPTIONS FOR YOUR DOORS
Seasonal colors are always fun, but remember that something with eucalyptus or magnolia is festive enough to take you from Thanksgiving right through New Year.

ADD SPACE FOR EXTRA GUESTS
Begone plastic folding tables of yore!
This FOLDING gate leg table is much better looking and doesn’t feel like the kid’s table.
Some nice extra seating here too.
GUEST BEDS & BATHS
Start with some basic things like fancy soap and handwash. A throw for cozying up that never gets boring or too trendy. Buy an unexpected color to shake things up, I pulled a bunch here at varying price points. Adding some pretty flora to the guest room makes it feel well-considered and homey. And a design-forward carafe throws in a moment of delight and function.
FRAGRANCE
I like to keep this really simple because I know what I LOVE and it’s this- my favorite way to signal fall: Diptyque Feu de Bois. I buy the medium size so it lasts til’ spring, but the classic does well if you like switching it up for the holidays. And if so, then may I suggest Catskills by Brooklyn Candle Studio?
